Food for busy masters student
Hello
I am a student who spends most of his time on campus, and end up eating fatty foods from campus cafe. I have little time to prepare lunch. Suppose I could make time for this lunch, what should I really eat?
I am from Pretoria and there i was a member of a gym and was eating quite well (I had time to prepare food). Here in Cape Town gym is a bit expnsive, i can't afford.

Dear Student
I know it is difficult to make sensible food selections when you are studying or staying in res, etc, but if you click on 'Diet' at the top of this page, 'Weight loss' , ‘The right approach' and then on 'Slimming Diet' for a copy of such a diet, and compare the foods you are eating with what you need to eat to not gain weight and eat sensibly then you should be able to make better selection, e.g. buy fruit, fat-free yoghurt and wholewheat crackers for lunch instead of always eating take-aways. Start walking more on the campus as brisk walking for 30 min a day is still the very best form of exercise and it's free.
Best regards
