Hair Loss
My hair is continuously falling out in huge clumps. Its terrible because it is everywhere. I've tried changing my shampoo because it is also very dry. I've just started taking the High Potency Multi Vitamin from Vital but it doesn't seem to be helping. I eat my 5 fruit and veg on most days. Is there anything I can suppliment my diet with or eat to make my hair stop falling out and break less?

Dear Carz
I would recommend that you consult a Dermatologist because hair loss of this magnitude is often and indication of an underlying physical problem. From a dietary point of view, iron-deficiency anaemia is the prime cause of hair loss. The dr will test your iron levels and prescribe an iron-folic acid supplement like FeroFolic which you would have to take for 3 months or longer to replenish your body iron stores. Foods rich in iron are: liver, red meat, poultry, fish, egg yolk, dried fruit and iron-fortified cereals.
