Muscle vs fat
How much more does muscle weigh then fat? If I have been weight training for the past few months and have put on weight on the scale does this mean it is muscle?
Dear Muscles
I can't say for sure, except that muscle tissue is known to weigh more than fat tissue (this varies from person to person). If you have been training hard and have developed muscles then this would account for the increase in weight when you step on a scale. If you have been eating more than you are burning with the exercise then the increase in weight could of course also be due to a gain in fat.
Best regards
