I drink about 2 liters of Oros every day, and about 500ml pure spring water. I dont like the taste of water, and oros does not give me heart burn.

Is Oros good or bad for you? I mean I still get all that water in, it just tastes better. I'm not worried about possible weight gain.

Dear Sipho
According to the SA Food Tables, diluted squashes like Oros, contain 110 kJ/100 ml, thus you are probably ingesting 2200 kJ of extra energy via your drinks. This amount of energy could potentially cause weight gain if it pushes your energy intake above your daily requirement. If you are active and the rest of your diet does not contain too much energy, then this will probably not make much difference to your weight.
