RIDGED NAILS
I'm 30 and have hectic vertical ridges on all my nails.
They often split up vertically which is painful and annoying...
My hair is also turning white - my mother only started going grey at about 50 yrs old...
Are the 2 related ??
I also can't sleep and then I can't wake up - feel tired all the time.

Dear Reader
I would recommend that you consult a Dermatologist for the ridged nails as this type of condition can be caused by fungal infections and other medical conditions. Also discuss the loss of your hair colour with the dr as Dermatologists specialise in hair and nail problems. Your problem with sleeping can be due to the menopause as most women at 50 go through menopause and research indicates that insomnia is one of the most common symptoms of the menopause. The fact that you are tired when you can't fall asleep, is normal. You may find that doing regular exercise like going for a brisk walk every day will improve sleep and make you feel more energetic.
From a dietary point of view, you could try taking a complete vitamin and mineral supplement like Centrum or Supradyn for a month or so, to see if you have any underlying deficiencies which would improve with the supplementation.
Best regards
