SHAPE shake - does it raise metabolism?
For the past 3 weeks i've been taking diet tablets XL to S and they have made me lose my appetite. i find that i only have supper at night - during the day i'm just not hungry...
i know this is bad for my metabolism and will cause me not to lose weight at all.
So can i drink a glass of SHAPE shake for breakfast and lunch? Will this raise my metabolism as eating a healthy meal would?
and is it fine to have 2 glasses of SHAPE per day and then my normal, HEALTHY meal at night? And i do drink loads of water during the day and try to exercise every day too...
please advise.. thank you.

As you may have noticed, I am not in favour of diet pills as they usually have negative side-effects. Drinking a protein shake will not really stimulate your metabolism. The best way to do that is to do regular aerobic exercise like walking, swimming, cycling, skipping, etc. Try having the protein shakes twice a day to see if this 'tricks' your body into reacting as if you are eating standard food (i.e. that you are not on a starvation diet which switches off your weight loss systems). Don't overdo the water either (not more than 1,5 L per day in addition to your other liquids) as you can cause electrolyte imbalances by washing important minerals like potassium, magnesium, sodium, and calcium out of the body. Even a good practice like drinking water should not be overdone. Try to get off the diet pills ASAP.
