Dear Amina from Kenya
Good to hear from someone in your country. I must admit that I do not know these 2 products - they may be locally available but not in South Africa. I am personally not in favour of taking all kinds of diet pills and potions. Check the ingredients on the label of these product and then click on 'Diet' and 'Weight loss' and 'Diet Detective' and check the ingredients against those listed in the article on 'Slimming Pills & Drops - Slimming Pill Ingredients, Positive & Negative Effects' to see what potential side-effects they may have and if any of the ingredients could help you lose weight. To lose weight you need to basically change your lifestyle. Reduce your energy intake by eating an energy-reduced, low-fat, high-fibre diet (click on 'Diet' at the top of this page, 'Weight loss' , ‘The right approach' and then on 'Slimming Diet' for a copy of such a diet), and increasing your energy output by doing regular exercise (running, jogging, skipping, cycling, swimming, or join a gym). Because you have a great deal of weight to lose you could also consider using Xenical or Orlistat, which is a true fat-trapper. Orlistat is usually only available by a doctor's prescription so you could ask your gp about this product. You would use it together with a very-low-fat diet. I attended the 1st Obesity Congress in SA awhile ago and excellent results were reported for Orlistat. So you could give it a try.
