Suffiecient diet??
I would like to lose between 4-5kgs in the next 2 months and would like to know if my diet is sufficient. I go to gym at 5am and do a spinning class each morning plus 1/2 hour other cardio and toning alternating days with free weights.
Breakfast: 45g oats + hot water, splash fat free milk. coffee
Mid morn snack: 45g salted prezolas - 2.8g fat
Lunch" Fat free 100g yog, sml banana, guava and orange/ or 2 ryvitas with protein and fruit. or 2 slices toast with p/butter + fruit
Late afternoon snack: 2 cream crackers with 2 thin slices tussers
Dinner: baked chicken or fish with 3 veg and potato, stirfry pasta
always 1 protein, 1 starch and 2-3 veg and all with no added fat.
after dinner: half glass fruit juice and ice lolley + 3 wine gums(opt) maybe later another cup of coffee.
Is this enough for the amount of exercises I do bearing in mind I'm pretty sendandery during the day.
Please advise. Many thanks

Dear CK
Your diet looks acceptable, except that you need to add 2 cups of fat-free milk or joghurt to your daily intake to make sure that you ingest 1000 mg of calcium a day. Using fat-free milk products will not increase your energy intake greatly. The amount of exercise is sufficient and losing 1 kg per week is perfectly doable.
Good luck
