Thyroid function!
I was told that I have an underactive thyroid & I know this makes you put on weight-what foods should I eat in order to counter act this? I have been told that I must go on specific tablets but I'd rather do it the natural way!

Dear Reader
Your body needs thyroid hormone and if your thyroid gland is not producing sufficient, then you MUST take thyroid hormone replacement therapy such as Eltroxin on a daily basis. If you do not take this hormone then your thyroid may get larger and larger causing goitre, which is something you should avoid. Combine the Eltroxin treatment with a low-fat, high-fibre diet (click on 'Diet' and 'Weight loss' and 'Slimming Diet' for an example of a low-fat, high-fibre slimming diet) and start doing regular exercise (join a good gym or Walk for Life).
Take care
