want to lose weight
I'm 15 and would love to lose weight the healthy way. I can't afford a diet program and I'm too young (and not that fat.) I want to become a model, but I have a bit too much fat on my arms, stomach and legs. Please help. I don't know how to diet corrext and have been on on-off diet plans for more than a year. How much is too much? When I'm not dieting I tend to overeat. All my friends are super thin, and I would like to look stunning in a short mini too.

Yes, I hear what you are saying, but I can't figure out if you are overweight or not. I need your height in metres and weight in kg so that I can work out your BMI to gauge if you need to lose or not. If you are basically thin and only have plump arms, stomach and legs, then your best bet is to start doing targeted exercises to firm up these areas. Ask Fitness Doc for targeted exercises and start skipping, swimming, running and cycling to firm up and lose any puppy fat you may still have. In the meanwhile an energy-reduced, low-fat, high-fibre diet (click on 'Diet' at the top of this page, 'Weight loss' , ‘The right approach' and then on 'Slimming Diet' for a copy of such a diet), but add 2 cups of fat-free milk or yoghurt or a tub of cottage cheese a day to ensure that you obtain sufficient calcium for your needs - you are still growing at this age and if you don't get enough calcium now you may develop osteoporosis when you get older (although you won't be thinking about this at this stage).
