Water retention
What foods can I eat to help ease water retention? I want to get pregnant again and therefore had to stop using my normal prescription of Ridaq.
Dear Anel
Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables to boost your potassium intake as potassium helps the body to excrete excess water. You should also not drink more than 4 cups of water a day in addition to your normal fluid intake. Too much water is also harmful. Cut down on salt intake (table salt, pickled, cured, smoked foods, condiments, and snacks with a high salt content). Start doing regular exercise as this also helps the body to rid itself of excess water (this will also make you nice and healthy for your pregnancy).
Hope you fall pregnant soon.
Best regards
