Weigh loss
Hi doc,

I would like to know i do cycling but dont get time to cycle in the afternoons so i do spinning at night, i dont get time to eat before hand so i have to eat afterwards and that is sometimes at 9 o' clock. Is this going to make a difference in loosing weith or is there some other way that i can try, about the water, is there a difference in the flaverd and normal water.

Dear Andrew
You can have a light snack before you start spinning (e.g. a low-fat energy bar) or use an energy drink like Energade, Powerade or EnerG before and during your exercise session to provide you with sufficient energy to exercise and also top up on electrolytes (sodium and potassium) and keep yourself hydrated. If you eat a light high-carb meal after exercise (e.g. pasta with vegetables) then this should not interfere with weightloss even if you eat later. There is no difference between flavoured bottled water and tap water, unless the bottled water is sweetened with sugar which will of course increase its energy content slightly.
Best regards
