Weight loss - when is it to fast?
I'm 1.58 m and 25 yo have lost just over 4kg's (now 51kg's) and 5 % body fat in the last month. I stopped taking the pill femodene about 6 months ago and have made sure I drink at least 2 l of water everyday - i'm still eating normally and have probably done less exercise than I usually do... I want to find out if i've lost the weight to fast and if it's just going to gain more weight. I
Dear H
Your present BMI = 20,4 which is slightly below the ideal of 22 for which you would need to weigh 55 kg, but the 4 kg you lost in the last month is not excessive (i.e. 1 kg per week). If you have not been dieting then this could be due to stopping the hormone treatment which can cause weight gain in some women. You should not regain the weight you have lost.
