Proteins are a high GI yet in your slimming diet you say for supper you can have a baked potato? Is white pasta (shell noodles) a bad carb? Proteins are not high GI, but generally low GI. You can certainly have a baked potato as foods are not only evaluated on their GI. All pasta, but particularly pasta made from Durum wheat has a low GI, so it is a good food choice. You can eat that baked potato with 1-2 tablespoons of grated cheese and 1 teaspoon of mayonnaise with salad and fruit for supper - sounds super.
