My daughter is 3 since Feb 09 she would wake up with swollen, red eyes and some white substance coming from them, tried GP who said it might be allergy or infection that will clear but unfortunately not went to 3 optometrists who refused to help because medical aid won' t pay and because of age but prescrbed Sulphacete (sp) of which she is not improving what can you suggest?

Thank you in advance.

Dear Monica

Swollen red eyes should not be ignored and should be examined by an opthalmologist (eye specialist).
