More research will need to be done before we understand fully how artificial light affects our health. It seems, though, that it's best to sleep at night and in a dark bedroom. Too much artificial light at night may be a contributory factor for certain types of cancers; also, light at night can result in disturbed sleep, which can have numerous short-term negative health effects e.g. mood disturbances.

Napping with the sun shining is unlikely to have any serious health effects, but drawing the curtains should make it easier to sleep during the daytime. Many sleep experts recommend shorter naps as being more refreshing - and a darkened room may make you oversleep! There's little consensus as to whether daytime napping is a good idea or not, but do it if it works for you; the only reason you should think about cutting back on naps is if you're having trouble sleeping at night.

As for sleeping with the heater on: I wouldn't, because it's a fire risk, especially if it's a bar heater. And sleeping with a heater on will tend to dry out the air and therefore your skin and mucous membranes, and gives some people headaches.
