AI and sport
Hi
I had AI done last week Friday (27th). I do karate and Pilates. I know you can proceed with your activities afterwards. But to what extend? Should I rather not do sit ups and push ups? And what about Pilates. We also do a lot of stomach work there.... Please advice...

Dear Bienks
If you had an induced cycle, ie using clomid or injectable induction drugs to icrease the number of eggs, then I would strongly recommend that you restrain from exertion until you know whether you are pregnant or not. This is due to the fact that in a stimulated cycle your ovaries may be enlarged and may also be more susceptible to tortion(twisting) or blunt trauma. However in a natural cycle IUI the same does not apply and you may go on with activities as usual.
