morhpology - 20% (normal forms) 76% (amorpous forms)
Free T4, progesterone, chlamydia A/B results were as follows:
Free T4 - 18, Progesterone - 54
follicular phase - 0.3 - 4.8 (range) 2.5 (median)
ovulation phase - 2.4 - 9.4 (range) 13.0 (median)
luteal phase - 8.0 - 90.0 (range) 49.0 (median)
post menopausal - 0 - 0.7 (range) 1.2 (median)

Dear VisitorA

The sperm analysis results appear to be within the normal range provided that the correct criteria and methodology has been followed in the laboratory (WHO criteria/strict Tigerberg criteria). Furthermore the blood results appear to be normal and a progesterone level of 54 may indirectly indicate ovulation. However despite this it is still important to establish other factors such as tubal patency factors and to exclude possible endometriosis as well as uterine abnormalities. Should these be normal then it may be recommended that an antibody screen be done and postcoital test should be considered as well. Finally, if no identifiable cause can be established, then the problem may be considerably more serious in that it may be indicative of fertilisation failure i.e. sperm egg interaction problems, which may necessitate invitro fertilisation and micromanipulation.
