contraceptions
what contraception can i use and still get my period besides condoms?
Dear Anonomous
The use of an oral contraceptive will certainly maintain a normal cyclical pattern and give you good protection as well. Another alternative is the use of the contraceptive skin patch such as Evra. The use intrauterine contraceptive devices can also be used if purely only for contraceptive purposes and I would certainly recommend the Mirena.
Please note: None of these methods will protect against STI’s including HIV.
