Follicle Scan
Is this the usual scan that the gynae does? Or is it something different? At my last visit the gynae did an ultrsound over my abdomen & then one using an internal device.
Dear Lilo
A follicle scan is usually done internally and is used specifically to determine the progress of a follicle in cases specific to fertility treatment. In many cases repeat scans are necessary to evaluate the rate of growth and number of follicles present.
