Dear Liz

If you are ovulating well on Glucophage, as well as doing all the necessary investigative procedures such as a Laparoscope (to ascertain tubal patency) and in addition everything is okay with your husbands sperm analysis, then the chances of you falling pregnant are very good. Just bear in mind that every cycle under ideal conditions when one is trying to conceive, the chances of falling pregnant is only 20%. So have patience if all is okay, you should be able to conceive. However, if you are struggling in any way to fall pregnant for over a year, then you fall into the definition of infertility and you may want to try some form of assisted reproduction techniques to help increase your chances of falling pregnant.
