How soon can I go for pregnancy testing?
Hi All,

I have been reading your postings guys, and I just want to encourage you for the support that you give each other.

Now my question is, how soon can I go for a pregnancy testing? My last Menst started on the 8 March 2006, and I have a 28 days cycle. Will it show now if i buy the home kit?

Dear New

The home pregnancy kit is usually sensitive from about 26 to 27 days of a normal 28 day cycle. Blood pregnancy test would be positive possibly 2 days earlier than this; ie approximately day 24 to 26 of the cycle. However the best recommendation is to wait until you have defintely missed your period and then proceed to do a home pregnancy test as this will avoid undue disappointment if testing is done too early.
