Pregnancy and HPV
Is it possible that my 2 miscarriages are linked to the fact that I had the HPV virus in the past? Wll I ever be able to fall pregnant?
Dear Lucy
To my knowledge there is no direct association with HPV and infertility per se. However, since HPV may well be sexually acquired the possibility of other sexually transmitted diseases such as clamidyia and mycoplasma may also be present. The latter two are potent causes of tubal damage and may therefore contribute to a fertility problem.
