Some advice please Doc
I was on clomid, but did not work, is this because my cycle is only 3 days long? How am I going to get my cycle to be longer so that I can take Clomid from day 5, I had to take it from day 2?

Thank you

Dear Amanda

The normal menstrual length varies between 2 days and 7 days. Therefore a three day menstrual period is not regarded as abnormal. It is still very possible to start using clomid from day 4 or day 5 of your cycle despite the fact that you are not bleeding at the time. This should not negatively impact on your follicle growth or fertility in any way.
