Dear Suleylah

In general success of reversals are not time dependent, but related more specifically to the length and condition of available portions of the tube that remains. If an excision and ligation was done (i.e. tubes cut and tied) the likelihood of success is significantly lower than if simple clips were applied over the tubes. It might be necessary to either do a laparoscope or x-ray prior to deciding on therapy, to see if it is worthwhile.
