Depends on the blister - some blisters are very deep, and those you want to just leave alone, because the risk of infection far outweighs any benefit you would get from popping them. If the blister is really superficial, then you can use a STERILISED needle and just prick the outside of the blister, drain the fluid from beneath the skin, and then leave the roof, or the skin on. The skin should be left on because it forms a protective layer, which again reduces the risk of infection.
