how much exercise?
Hi, i'm a 22 year old female and i just want to be a bit healthier and fitter. I am not overweight just very inactive (wouldn't mind losing a kg or two). Do you think 2, one hour work outs, a week (taebo) is enough or should i do more? Thank you in advance
Hi Jan
Two a week is of course better than none, but if you think about it, you are doing NOTHING twice as much as you are exercising if you only train twice a week. That is, you have 2 days off for every one day of exercise and that's not ideal. If you could add one more, or possibly two more days a week, then you shift the balance right across so that you are training more than you are not, and that makes the biggest difference to fitness. So in my experience, you are better off doing a little bit more often than a few big sessions a week. that's not to say your two a week is wasted - not at all, and if that's all you have time for, then that's what you do. But if you can find the time to do more, then I certainly would add a third session, and maybe even a fourth.
Good luck
