Needles & Pins not going away.
Since cycling the past weekend, I've had a bad case of needles & pins in my left hand - and its not going away (3 days later).
My hand is weak, and I have difficulty controlling my fingers - which is devistating to me as I'm a very enthusiastic guitar player.
Should I hit the abort button to this weekends Argus?

Looking forward to your reply,
Regards
Johhny

Hi Johnny

This is obviously not great, but I wouldn't hit the abort button just yet. The actual sensation of pins and needles is not that unusual - but for it to continue for 3 days is. It's Thursday today, and if it's not better by the time you read this, then I would suggest that you see a doctor, just to make sure that this is nothing too serious. This type of numness is caused either by a restriction in circulation or by pressure on the nerve. I would tend to think that if it's persisted this long, then it's probably a neural thing. It may be that there is some inflammation of the nerve, and so perhaps it would disappear if you took an anti-inflammatory. I know that in the foot this sometimes happens where the nerve becomes inflamed, and they often give cortisone injections. Other anti-inflammatories are things like Voltaren, Ibuprofen. I would try this, and also see a doctor, but don'g give up on Argus just yet.

Good luck
