Stair master and Climbing machine
At the gym there is the stair master(small steps) and there is a climbing machine(big, deep steps), what is the difference between the two, which one will be more effective on my bums and thights?

Good question, actually, and I must confess that I'm not 100% sure. I suspect that where there is a bigger range of movement, the effects will be greater, much like sprinting or running with larger strides involves more muscle than 'shuffling' along or running with small, quick steps does. I guess the compromise is that certain people, perhaps those who are less flexible, will battle on the deep steps, and prefer the smaller one. The bottom line is that you need to choose the one that you find most comfortable and condusive to doing the most possible time on, because at the end of the day, that's what counts!
