Training times
Is it better to train in the morning before work, or after work?
Dear Sporty,
Your body will physiologically react to a training stimulus the same way, regardless of the time of day that you work out! So, the answer to your question is more individual: when do you feel better when you work out? If you wish to work out in the mornings, however, it is important to make sure you eat something to refill the glycogen stores in your liver that were depleted overnight. Also, you may be a little "stiffer" in the mornings, but that will quickly resolve after stretching!
Do what works best for your schedule...your body doesn't really mind...
