Hi there

I'm actually not familiar with this exact term. I looked for it on the internet, and was able to find the following site that may be helpful to you.

What i can gather is that it is a form of kickboxing, which has been modified or transformed into an aerobics type session. These and similar sessions are extremely common and there are many different types - taebo, kata box etc. I believe (though the purists will argue, I'm sure) that they are al very similar and achieve the same results.

Are they worth it? yes, if this is the only exercise that you will be able to do and if this is what it takes to get fit, then they are great. the best thing about them is the variety they offer, because the movements are different, it's challenging and therefore not likely to get boring like some repetitive activities might. The key is that no matter what you do, whether it's boxing, taebo, swimming, cycling or running, you have to be constant and be patient and give the exercise at least 3 months to start to work.

Good luc
