There was an advert recently on T.V (Think it was Nedbank?) That showed the gay couple. Lately the gay couple has been removed? What happened? Did I just miss it? Then there is another ad which gets my blood boiling and that is the polka ad which shows the gay guys. It is offensive because polka ads are meant to be funny? Are they making guys who are feminine look bad? I think they are. They are playing with stereotypes.

Now for a question. I've been looking for gay-friendly singers to listen to and was wondering if any1 here knows any? So far i've found Alanis Morissette (Very supportive of the gay community) and surprisingly Fall Out Boy. Google what Pete Wentz said against racism and homophobia. I was really impressed.

Hi DLB, welcome again and thanks for the post.

I confess that I haven't see either ad, but we've had a previous post regarding the Nedbank ad - enter "Nedbank" in the forum search and see what pops up. There was an insert on homoprejudice in "The cutting edge" on last night - did you see it?
