Explicit language
This is a very informative forum and I browse here regularly. Just a thought which I hope won't offend anyone... What are your forum rules regarding explicit language? So far you've managed to maintain a certain level of decorum and dignity but a previous post today managed to raise my eyebrows and I see the expert didn't comment on the language used. Or am I just getting old?
Hi Anon and thanks for your post.
Although I may not have time to respond to all posts immediately I assure you that the forum is regularly monitored, with offensive language edited, personal contact details and inappropriate posts deleted. I am well aware of the post you refer to but do not find the language used offensive in any way. In an era of HIV and AIDS people should be encouraged to talk about sex in a natural manner. Gay and lesbian people have experienced much discrimination and prejudice and the taboos around our sexuality are particularly strong - in this light our forum allows a healthy degree of freedom of expression around sex provided that it is linked to issues of sexual orientation.
I hope you will continue visiting here and if you have a moment please complete our forum survey (see the link above). It will only take a moment.
