Why its so hard to let go
Why it so hard to let go. I have tried everything out there to let go. I have accepted that it was never meant to be, but the pain just doesn’t wanna go away, it still cuts like a knife. Its nearly a year now since we brook up. Believe me, its not that I am holding on to some sort of hope or believe that things will ever work out, I have moved on, or maybe I am just telling my self that I did. Or its just certain wounds never hells. Its just dam frustrated.
Hi SoHard and thanks for this post.
After a year you should be moving on and, on some level, having a sense of closure. What factors do you think are keeping you 'stuck' in this space? What have you doneto address these issues?
I strongly suggest that you go for a few sessions of counselling - there's no need for you to be feeling so intensely hurt after a year. Remember, however, that the first anniversary of your loss could be particulary uncomfortable.
