i was diagnosed with chronic inflammatory demylenating polyneuropathy, is it hereditary, i seem to be the only one in the family with this? will my children get it?

This condition most likely has a genetic component but is very complex, in other words both genetic and environmental factors play a role. Although it cannot be excluded, it is unlikely that your children wil also get it because there is no-one else in your family that is affected.
