10wks pregnant - bland taste in mouth
Hi All
What do I do about this bland taste I constantly have in my mouth? I've tried mint sweets and gum but it doesnt help. Whatever sweets I do eat just causes phlegmn most of the time and I end up vomiting it back up again. I have also found that if I eat constantly I throw up less. But a person can only nibble so much on tasteless, dry pro-vita biscuits, bananas and salticrax. After I eat the bland taste is back. What causes it and what can I do to get rid of it?

This is due to pregnancy hormones and is one of the reasons why pregnany women often have cravings for strange foods.
There is nothing much you can do about it.
