Absence of periods after hysterectomy
Hi Doc,
I am 34yrs old had partial hysterectomy six months ago and have never had periods. Is this normal or is my body just adjusting to a shock? Is this something to worry about?
I still have my tubes and ovaries.

After a hysterctomy you would not have periods. Periods result from a shedding of the womb lining. If the womb has been removed, there is nothing to bleed from.
