Acyclovir
Hi there
If you are diagnosed positve with Herpes, can one take Acyclovir during pregnancy and if not what can you do? Will you be able to take this medication while breastfeeding?
What can you do to reduce the outbreak? Can herpes be picked by from public toilets? or by using utensils that are used by someone who has herpes.

You can take Acyclovir in pregnancy if necessary, but this should only be done in discussion with your doctor. It would only be considered during an acute attack.
There isn't much that can be done to reduce attacks other than avoiding stress and following a healthy lifestyle.
Herpes cannot be contracted from public toilets or utensils.
Best wishes
