Androcur (generic Cipla-cyproterone).
I've been to a gynae. We found that i have cysts on my ovaries, he said that it could fall into the catagory for PCOS, Anyway did blood tests and found that my testtosterone levels is practically as that of man...I'm a normal woman with just an excessive amount of facial hair and my hair is thinning and have gained a lot of weight.....
My Gynae put me on Androcur 50mg? How will this help? I have also been tested for Cushing's Syndrome...Waiting on those results.....
Please tell me if there are more women like me cause I'm starting to feel like a freak......and this is really embarassing and affecting me phsycologically..

PCOS affects up to 5% of women and is most likely what you have. Weight loss along with the use of agents like androcur helps to decrease androgen levels
