At what gestational age are triplets usually born?
I would like to know the average gestational age at which triplets are usually born ?

If I don't belong to a Medical Aid scheme, will a government hospital have the facilities to look after them, in the event of their being born severely premature? What are my options if I don't have a Medical Aid and cannot afford to give birth in a private hospital? Will my doctor be able to advise me?

A large proportion of triplets are born between 24 and 32 weeks. If you don't have a Medical Scheme, government hospitals are usually able to offer care from 28 weeks.

Best wishes
