bladder infections
dr why would a women have continous bladder infections, most times i dont know i have them but my urine smells terrible i then go to GP and she will discover i have a bladder infection and this without any pain/itching or other symptoms. I hate taking antibiotics so i try to drink cranberry juice and 2litres water everyday which seems to help. I would also like to know should i decide to have the mirena put in will this not either cause more infections or as i have heard it will cause me not to be aware i have infections which is worse? is this a true side effect of the mirena and how come? which pill is the lowest dose plus safe with the most minimal side effects of weight and water retention is it MINESSE or is there still a better one on the market please please as you can see a lot of women on this site are struggling to find something suitable!

These may not be true bladder infections. The best way to be sure is for the urine to be sent to the laboratory.
Mirena should not cause bladder infections.
In terms of low dose pills and water retention, Yasmin may be a good one to try.

Best wishes
