CAN I FALL PREGNANT
Hi,

I've been using Nordette for the last 3 years, I was on antibiotics from the 16th of March to the 21st of March, started my period on the 28th of March and made love to my boyfried the 1st of April, I have also been on asthma medication (Singulair) will this have an effect on the pill and what are the chances that I will fall pregnant.

The antibiotics do affect the Pill. You should have used extra precautions for two weeks after stopping. Usual ovulation times do not apply in this situation as breakthrough ovulations can occur at any time when the dose of the Pill in the blood stream is lessened by the antibiotic.
