Dear Doc,
I'm 32 years old, 13 weeks pregnant and my gynae measured the neck fold 1,2mm
is this measurement normal
and is this down syndrome blood test nomal to do in the first trimester and considering my age

The absolute measurement is not helpful. This has to be put into a computer program to give you a risk figure. This is often combined with a blood test to make the test more accurate. Everyone is offered this test these days irrespective of age.
