My friend delivered triplets this week at 29 weeks. She had pre-eclampsia which I thought would reduce after birth. 36 hours after the birth, she suffered an eclamptic attack. Her blood pressure is still very high (3 days after birth). What are the chances of another attack and how long should it take for her to get back to normal?

After 3 days, the chances of another fit are very low. About 80% of women will get better in 48 hours. The rest can take a week or more to improve.

Best wishes
