I f you are having an ectopic pregnancy does the home preg test show positive? and if it does how long does it take for you to know that it is only ectopic?

In most cases the pregnancy test will be positive. In the case of an ectopic pregnancy, you would have symptoms such as pain, or it will be detected on ultrasound.
