Estrofem + Eltroxin
II had a hysterectomy (still have ovaries) age 26 and now for the first time at age 49 will start HRT. I’ ve been using Eltroxin (1mg) for about 28-30 years. Is the combination of the 2 beneficial, clashing? When is it most beneficial for absorption to take these medications, morning, evening, before a meal, after meals, etc. Next obvious question, weight gain? Having a thyroid that is lazy and oestrogen!! had a hystore
The medications will not interfere with each other and the time of day of taking them does not matter. Most women do not gain weight on HRT. Your thyroid function presumably is normal on treatment.
