excessive vomiting-urgent please
Hi there. i am a little concerned. I am 13 weeks pregnant and have been terribly sick with vomiting for the last 8 weeks. it started as bad "all day sickness" and progressed to vomiting some 12 times a day. i have been hospitalised twice now for this and put on a drip and given "zofron" to control the vomiting. whilst on the drip and in hospital i am obviously fine as there is no nausea and no vomiting cos no food. as soon as i get home and start eating it all starts again. the doc does bloods each time and my mineral levels and all other tests are fine. the baby is fine and no problem there. is this normal- i am completely housebound and have been for 8 weeks. any smells or just the thought of food is nauseating. i am drinking a lot of rehydrate and that is maybe why my levels are good.
should i be concerned. i am taking the dissolving zofron here at home but it doesnt touch sides with mee. i feel like it is better to just stop eating.
this is making me so miserable. should i be worried and how long will this go on for ?

The morning sickness usually stops by 14 weeks. What you are expereincing is normal. You could try small bland meals - dry toast, etc. Do try to keep adequately hydrated though.
Best wishes
