Fact or Fiction?
Would like to know if any problems or complications could arise from penetrative sex and ejaculation with in, while pregnant? If pregnancy is in it's +- third trimester when should one stop as well? Was told by a nurse that it could cause the baby to be born prematurely, something to do with the contents of the sperm. Is this fact or fiction?
Thanks.
Thanks.
You can carry on having sex as long as it is comfortable. It will not harm the pregnancy. It is true that sperm contains prostaglandins which can cause uterine contractions but this usually only occurs if the uterus is ready for labour. If you had any complications during the prergnancy, it might be necessary to refrain from intercourse.
