Fertility / Infertility
My hubby and I have been trying since december '04 to fall pregnant. In Feb '05, i had an op to remove a cyst on my ovary. Doc gave me a clean bill of health. Mom-in-law told me that when she was preggie with my hubby, she had mumps. WOULD THIS HAVE AFFECTED HIS FERTILITY? And she told me that his petruitry gland was inactive and he had to have injections every week for a year in his early teens. WOULD THIS HAVE AFFECTED HIS FERTILITY?

Please help, all advice is welcome and desperately needed.

Your mother-in-law's mumps would not have affected your husband's fertility but the pituitary problem, depending on what is was, might.
