Follow-up on "weird symptoms"
I just received the blood test results and I am not pregnant. My doctor mentioned a lot of other things that could be wrong (like anti-ovulatery cycle) and said that I would probably have to go for a lot of tests. I'm so worried. What kind of tests can I expect?
I imagine I'll be tested for PCOS and be scanned for growths on the ovaries. Has anyone else experienced this? I have often suspected that I have an under-active thyroid (because no matter how hard I try, I can't lose weight). Can someone please advise what kind of tests I can expect or if there is any particular test I should ask for?

The tests will mainly be blood tests for various hormones including the thyroid hormones, and probably a scan to check for PCOS.
